Geological reconnaissance works covering a Customer License. The works are performed in three stages – pre-field work preparation, field works and cameral works on geological reporting. The pre-field work preparation involves: 1 - collection of materials for a region of works and for a licensed area; 2 – satellite images interpretation for the licensed area. The field works includes a geologist visiting the licensed area and sampling of all gold-bearing structures that are being worked out by artisanals and all supposed gold-bearing structures that have been identified according to the space image interpretation data. On completion of the field work and receiving of laboratory results on selected samples, a geological report is drawn up, in which prospects for identifying gold deposits in the licensed area and expediency of setting up prospecting there are determined.
Prospecting. The specific purpose of prospecting is to identify ore bodies for which expediency of exploration works has been determined. Works can be carried out in full throughout the entire licensed area using the most effective prospecting methods (geological traverses, geochemical and panning survey, trenching and drilling), or in concise way, in this case, only sampling of artisanal workings available on the area are conducted. Choice of research methods depends on expediency, wishes of a Customer and his financial capabilities.
The result of the conducted works is a geological report. On receiving of positive results, a description of ore bodies with their location on maps and plans for which single intersections by mine workings or outcrops were obtained, the estimated gold resources by P1 category (Inferred) and preliminary information on exploration techniques of their development are given in the report. On receiving negative results, geological justifications are given that the area is deemed non economical.
The works include pre-field preparation, field works and cameral works on reporting.
Exploration. The specific purpose of exploration is size detection of ore bodies on a plan and at depth and determination of gold content in them with reserve estimation by C2 and C1 categories. The key techniques of exploration are trenching, pitting, and drilling.
The result of the conducted works is a geological report. On receiving of positive results, gold reserve estimates by C2 and C1 categories (Indicated, Measured) with plans and sections of ore bodies with sampling data are given in the report. A preliminary feasibility study for development of these ore bodies is also provided. On receiving negative results, geological justifications are given that the ore bodies are deemed non economical.
The works include pre-field preparation, field works and cameral works on reporting.
